Product description is misleading. This product is only for ipod 4 and 3 NOT FOR ALL IPODS.
Thanks Griffin. Thus, I have now a piece of nothingness. It is sold as an accessory for iPod. Naively I bought and had it sent to me in Rio de Janeiro, where I was sadly frustrated, as it wouldn't fit my ipod Classic 120GB.
Please do not order this and save your money. This item WILL NOT WORK WITH IPOD VIDEO. Nowhere in the description does it mention this.
Hard to believe that Amazon allows such craziness. While the label says ".Remote Control for iPod or iPod mini.", the fine print on the INSIDE says you ALSO need a "dock connector (not included)". Good grief already. Too late to get my $$$ back or I would've already returned it. WTF. I buy a product, then find out I needed something more.
It's got good reception, it's exceptionally light, can wake the iPod when it's asleep and generally does all that's asked of it with style. This product works great for controlling my iPod while it's in the glove box of my car.
